TTT: Books On My Spring 2019 TBR

top-ten-tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now run by That Artsy Reader Girl.

I’m a big mood reader, so it’s hard for me to come up with a stack of books that I’ll definitely want to read over the span of the season, but these are all titles that I want to get to sometime soon.

TTT: Books That Have Been On My TBR the Longest and I Still Haven’t Read

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now run by That Artsy Reader Girl.

The amount of unread books I own is highly embarrassing (close to 400). I sorted my Goodreads owned-tbr shelf by date and these are ten of the oldest from that shelf. I purge my shelves fairly regularly, so even though I’ve owned all of these for at least four years, I do actually plan to read all of them…eventually.

Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Meant to Read In 2017 But Didn’t Get To

top-ten-tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is an original weekly feature created by The Broke and the Bookish.  This week’s topic: Books I Meant to Read In 2017 But Didn’t Get To.

I’m limiting myself to 2017 standalone releases because of the sheer number of books I didn’t pick up last year.  I’m notorious for taking years and years to finish series books, and my level of enjoyment of the first book doesn’t seem to motivate me in the slightest. I still haven’t finished the Grisha trilogy, Lunar Chronicles, or the latest release in either of SJM’s series.  And that’s just the tip of the iceberg! 🙈   Please hound me to finish reading your favorite series, because I clearly need the encouragement and can almost guarantee that I haven’t completed it yet, whatever it is.

Without further ado, here are 10 standalones from 2017 that I still haven’t gotten to.

Top Ten Tuesday: Favorite Musicians

top-ten-tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is an original weekly feature created by The Broke and the Bookish.

I love music even more than books (*gasp!*), so I was really excited to see that this week’s Top Ten Tuesday theme is an All About Audio freebie.  There are so many music related lists and things I could talk about, but I’ve decided to share some of my favorite music artists (new and older faves). I’ve picked out a couple of my favorite songs from each for you to check out. I love music videos so I had a lot of fun going back and watching all these while I was choosing songs.  Please let me know in the comments what you enjoyed!

Top Ten Tuesday: Books In My Classroom Library

Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is an original weekly feature created by The Broke and the Bookish.

This week’s theme is a Back to School freebie. I wanted to talk about books in my classroom library.  I’m actually an itinerant teacher so I don’t have a physical classroom, but these are books I’ve read with my students and shared with gen ed teachers and families. I teach B-21 so I have books for preschoolers all the way to YA and adult on my list.
