Diversity December Bingo: My Ambitious TBR #diversitydecbingo

screen-shot-2016-12-03-at-10-09-37-am

Yesterday I mentioned that I’m participating in a reading challenge this month, and it’s Diversity December Bingo! I’m so so excited about this one. I’ve been making a conscious effort to diversify my reading, so this challenge fits in perfectly with that goal.  Most people are covering a 5-square line from the card. I’m being overly ambitious and attempting to complete as much of the card as possible. I’m hoping to read books to cover most of the 25 categories.

2016-Discussion-Challenge

2016 Book Blog Discussion Challenge

This challenge is to help get us discussing books and book blogging, so talk about whatever you want as long as it’s relevant to book blogging. Discussions can be book related or book blogging related (or generally blogging related – no discussions about things that are completely off-topic like travel or fashion, etc). Discussions can also be about you personally if it’s a get-to-know-you type post.

My goal is: 49+ Posts– Gift of the Gab

Holiday Bookish Bingo Update

bookish bingo

Bookish Bingo was created by Bekka at Pretty Deadly Reviews. Each bingo card lasts for three months, in this case, December 1st and February 29th.  The object is to get as many bingos as possible. Each bingo enters you in a giveaway that takes place at the end of the round.  Bekka has more information about the rules and some suggested books on this round’s blog post, so be sure to check that out as well.

Here’s what I read in December:

#SIXSQUAREDCHALLENGE Intro Post

GRAPHIC NO ICONS

Join in the Six Squared Reading Challenge for 2016!

I’ve seen a lot of great reading challenges created for the new year, but nothing that allows me the flexibility to mood read (a must for me!) while still motivating me to diversify my reading. The Six Squared Challenge allows you to read any genre, length, format, age level, and language!

Challenge info:

  • Your challenge is to read six books from each of the six categories, for a total of 36 books by the end of 2016:
    • 6 New Releases (Debut Authors)
    • 6 New Releases (Loved Authors)
    • 6 Books to Start a Series
    • 6 Books to Complete a Series (can be different from above)
    • 6 Book to Movie Adaptations
    • 6 Goodreads Choice Awards Winners or Nominees
  • There are no minimum number of books required for each month. Three per month would be a good starting point since there are 36 books in the challenge, but you can read 1 book from the challenge in January and 10 in February if you want. This challenge is super flexible, so do whatever works best for you!

Open to all:

  • Anyone can participate in this challenge: book bloggers, booktubers, bookstagramers, booklrs, etc. All readers are welcome! We can all cheer each other on and read together.
  • Comment below if you plan to participate. Use the banner above in your own blog/social media post and link back to this post.

Use the Hashtag:

  • The official challenge hashtag is #sixsquaredchallenge

Monthly Wrap Ups:
