december wrap up

December was a great reading month for me.  I have two weeks off work for the holidays, and while I’m back home visiting family, I’ve been able to read a lot.  I finished 16 books this month!

I finally started watching The 100 this month, and I watched both seasons in one week!

I got a Keurig Mini and an Inspiralizer for Christmas, the two things I wanted the most. I’ve already been using them both a ton!

Paleo Pumpkin Bars (Gift for my mom)
Paleo Buffalo Chicken Dip I’m a vegetarian, but I made this to take to our family’s Christmas dinner and it was a huge hit.

Wrap Up: November 2015

November Wrap Up.png

I honestly cannot believe November is over already. I don’t know where the time went, or what I did all month because I sure wasn’t reading! The bulk of my reading this month was done during the Anti-Bullying Readathon. I barely read anything outside of that week.

I’m still powering through Arrow, and I’m now on season 3, so I’m alternating between that and The Flash because they have parallel storylines.  I’m finally almost caught up with the current season of The Vampire Diaries too. I was procrastinating watching the final few episodes of last season because I wasn’t sure what to think of Elena leaving.  I liked the story the writers came up with to end Elena’s run on the show, and it was a nice change from the boring “kill off the character” that usually happens when an actor/actress leaves a series.  I’ve been really enjoying the new season so far too.  Bob’s Burgers is one of those shows I casually watch on Netflix when I’m eating dinner or working on a project and need something quick to keep me entertained.  Every time I watch it I forget how funny it is! Check it out if you haven’t seen it yet.

And the most important thing I watched all month!!!!!!!!:

October 2015: Wrap Up

October Wrap Up

I can’t believe October is over already! And it has been over for almost a week because I’m so late getting this blog post up.

I read…not a lot in October, only 6 books.  I was out of town or hosting guests for 3 of the 5 weekends, and to be honest I just didn’t prioritize reading as much as I typically do, even without those distractions.  I’m still ahead on my Goodreads Challenge, so I’m not too upset about my slow month.

I love music even more than I love reading. No wrap up is complete without a playlist of my favorite songs from the month! I’d love to know what you’ve been listening to lately.

I’m loving this season of How to Get Away With Murder so far. I like to wait until 3-4 episodes have aired and then marathon them all at once.  This season of The Walking Dead has been so slow, I’m really not enjoying it much :/
I started watching Arrow on Netflix last month after I saw Stephen Amell at Chicago Comic Con. I just started Season 2. I even got my mom into the show when she visited earlier in the month!  I have a love/hate relationship with The Voice, depending on who is judging each season. I love Gwen and Pharrell, so I’ve been watching this season. I really like Jordan, Barrett, Siahna, and Braiden.
