Thanks in part to the Bookish Bingo Readathon, TBR Takedown, and Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon, I ended up reading 20 books in April! It was also rainy most of the month and that kept me inside a lot more than I expected.

Still marathoning Arrow and The Flash, but other than that, I started watching Free! thanks to Dan Howell’s anime recommendations video. I’m halfway done with the first season and I’m enjoying it so far. I don’t LOVE anime but it’s a fun change from what I normally watch and the episodes are short, which makes it perfect to watch while I’m eating dinner or taking a break from a book.

#Readathon really bumped up my reading this month. How did you month go? What was your favorite book that you read? I’m falling behind on a lot of my challenges. I definitely overcommitted myself this year! Anyone else feeling the same way?
Wow, you read quite a lot! I had an okay reading month..My favorite book I read was probably Lock and Key by Sarah Dessen. Here’s my wrap-up 🙂 https://curlyhairbibliophile.wordpress.com/2016/05/01/april-wrap-up/

Wow, that’s a lot of books in one month––great job! 😀 I’m doing pretty well on my yearly goal (which is 75 books for the year), but I have a bunch of other personal challenges that I need to work on. I’ve made good progress on some of them, but others I’ve been neglecting. 😛 As for my favorite read in April, it was definitely The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater (the 4th Raven Cycle book). I finished it less than a week ago and I already want to read it again, lol.

I’m doing good on my Goodreads goal, it’s all the other little challenges I joined that I’m falling behind on. I tend to forget about them throughout the month and then scramble to figure out what fits with each challenge when I’m writing my wrap up!

1) First time on your blog and am loving it! So pretty 🙂
2) 20 books!? That’s awesome! I’m participating in the Bout of Books Read-a-thon next week 🙂 It will be my first and I’m hoping I pace myself well
Great wrap-up!

I didn’t do any challenges last year – okay, wait, one I think – so I definitely signed up for a lot of them this year. I haven’t really been updating my blog about how I’m doing, but I AM keeping track on Goodreads so that’s nice. I’m doing well with a couple of them, but I do need to work on it more! I need to find more books for my OWN challenge too, but I’ve read three or so I think…not too bad for it JUST being May. That’s great you’ve read so many books in the past month though!!!

Goodreads definitely helps with keeping track! I’m doing okay-ish with most of my challenges, but keeping up with tracking them is a constant struggle for sure.

I am enjoying it! I think I liked My True Love Gave To Me more than this one, but it’s still a good read.
Glad you’re enjoying the music 🙂

It is! I started the series a couple years ago and I’m finally getting back into it. I own all the books so I decided this year that if I didn’t start reading them again, I was going to get rid of them. I started watching Shadowhunters this month too and that’s motivated me to get back into the book series.
